It’s been a minute, I took a little break as it was hard to create new posts featuring different looks when we could only really leave the house for work or our food shop and there is only so many loungewear looks one person can take. Now that we have a bit more of an excuse to venture out and make a little effort again and I can take photos in more places than just my bedroom I thought I would put together some looks featuring a trend that is still going strong, the tie-dye trend. I have seen a lot of co-ord looks especially with loungewear, where others have styled tops and bottoms both with the same tie dye print, now if you like me aren’t quiet as bold and adventurous as that then I have styled some looks that are a little more subtle than that and for different occasions.
This post is brought to you in collaboration with Femme Luxe who have a range of different tie dye pieces, I just selected some of their different t-shirts in a range of styles and sizes, which they kindly gifted me, but to shop their whole range please click here – https://femmeluxe.co.uk/search.php?view=results&search_query=tie+dye.
Outfit No. 1 is my new favourite tennis style skirt from Bershka – https://www.bershka.com/gb/women/collection/skirts/pleated-mini-skirt-c1010193224p102485189.html?colorId=250 worn with a light blue tie-dye affect t-shirt which I ordered in a medium so it is slightly baggy. I think this outfit looks really good with trainers I am wearing converse but you could also wear chunkier trainers with this look. This is a very casual style that is great for summer or on holiday. The top is – https://femmeluxe.co.uk/mid-blue-tie-dye-oversized-t-shirt-veda this is such a nice pastel colour too.
Outfit No. 2 I opted for a bigger size to wear it as a dress, I think I could have done with the next size up though just to make it a little longer, this does not go well with the windy weather. This is their lilac version t-shirt, which is currently out of stock but they have a nice darker pink here – https://femmeluxe.co.uk/pink-tie-dye-oversized-t-shirt-veda. I have styled it with white trainers and a cute small bag, but it would also look great with black cycling shorts too.
Outfit No. 3 is the pink version which you can shop here – https://femmeluxe.co.uk/pink-tie-dye-oversized-t-shirt-veda styled with light wash denim shorts and trainers, this is a great casual everyday summer look, again I went for a medium so it would be slightly oversized.
And lastly how to wear tie-dye in the evening too, this t-shirt is also a slightly different style with shorter sleeves and more of a crop cut, in the classic tie-dye colours. I have teamed it with smart fitted trousers from Zara’s previous collection and white heels. This is available to shop here – https://femmeluxe.co.uk/orange-tie-dye-padded-shoulder-sleeveless-t-shirt-seema. This shows how versatile this trend can be too.
I hope you have enjoyed my latest post and thank you for reading it, hopefully you will have taken some new inspiration to add a little colour to your summer wardrobe and try out a different pattern.
