What’s Hot! The Nottingham Edition With Snizl

I am all for discovering new places, especially if it involves, cake, make up and wine so when I was invited to Snizl’s event to showcase some of Nottingham’s best kept secrets I jumped at the chance to go along. Snizl is a new app working with local independent chains within the city to promote special offers and help you find new places to visit and things to do. I think this is a great idea as I didn’t even realise some of these places even existed until this event and trust me we have been missing out.

The Pudding Pantry –

Our first stop was The Pudding Pantry (27-29 Trinity Square, Burton Street, Nottingham NG1 4AF ) where we had the most amazing chocolate milkshakes, it is worth the visit just for one of these. Not only do they have a huge range of puddings to choose from but they also have a brunch and lunch menu on offer. Now open late on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening when you get that need for something sweet this is the perfect place to stop.

CaBella –

Next up was CaBella (6 Bridlesmith Walk, Nottingham NG1 2HB) which was a dream find for me, they offer beauty lessons and full make overs always accompanied with a glass of prosecco, what more could a girl ask for. Here we got to have a look around at the different beauty products they sell, also offering a budget range of make up that they swear by and a full face demonstration, which has massively upgraded my make up routine. If you download the app as well they always have offers on for their make overs and demonstrations.

Weavers of Nottingham –

Then it was on to Weavers a family run, independent wine Merchant in Nottingham (1 Castle Gate, Nottingham NG1 7AQ) where we got to sample a range of different wines and learn a bit about the history and origin of them as well as getting a tour around the cellars. They offer a range of tasting events from wine to champagne to gin which you can book tickets for on their website. They also kindly gifted us with a bottle of Red, which went down a treat with my parents who are normally very selective over which wines they will drink.

Thanks again to Snizl for hosting the event, I had a great evening trying some new places and have already found others to try after using their app. Find out more and how to download here – Snizl.
